Located in a pedestrian area about 164 feet from Piazza Maggiore, the hotel is the perfect base for exploring the city center’s monuments, porticoes, and boutiques on foot. The central train station is also within easy walking distance via the historic Via Indipendenza.
Getting here
The hotel is in a limited traffic zone (ZTL). You can access the historic center by following directions to the partner garage or the hotel’s luggage unloading area. Upon arrival, we will register your vehicle’s license plate with the appropriate authorities to authorize access and avoid any penalties. We suggest contacting us in advance for the recommended route to help you avoid lanes reserved for public transport.
Bologna Central Station is about 0.93 miles from the hotel. To reach us, you can book a chauffeur directly with us.
Alternatively, at the station exits - Piazza Medaglie d’Oro or Via de’ Carracci (high-speed line) - you’ll find bus stops (about 15 minutes) and taxis (about 10 minutes).
If you have time and are traveling light, you can also walk to the hotel - a pleasant 0.93-mile stroll along Via Indipendenza, one of Bologna’s main shopping streets.
Guglielmo Marconi Airport is about 5 miles from the historic center. You can reach the hotel via the Marconi Express (People Mover) to the Central Station, or take a taxi directly from the airport. At the exit, both options are available.
If you prefer, we can arrange a chauffeur to meet you at the arrivals gate and take you to the hotel in about 15–20 minutes.
