The hotel and its restaurant are featured in the Illustrated Guide to the Emilia Exhibition. A contemporary account describes it as a renovated property with all modern comforts, located in the city center and connected by tram to the Exhibition.

Advertisements for Hôtel Restaurant Roma highlight the quality of its offering: a first-rate restaurant known for excellent service and reasonable prices, with spaces also available for banquets and longer stays.

1934

The mark of rationalism

The hotel was renovated by Francesco Santini, who introduced Rationalist-inspired architectural elements, marking a new chapter in its evolution.

1945

Postwar rebirth

After World War II, the hotel and restaurant, though affected by events, preserved their original structure. This marked the beginning of a major modernization project designed to meet the evolving needs of travelers.

The 50s

A haven for artists

In the 1950s, Hotel Roma became a gathering place for theater and music artists, who chose it as both a place to stay and to meet. A cultural spirit that continues to this day.
