From July 01st, 2023 Bologna becomes the first city in Italy at 30 km/h, this means that, unless otherwise indicated by the road signs, the speed limit is 30 km/h, we invite all our Guests to pay utmost attention.
Due to some road works, detours are being made to the road system in the historic center that also affect the route to the hotel by car, including the most central section of Via San Vitale closed for the securing of the Garisenda Tower, we recommend NOT entering the center from Porta San Vitale.
Changes to Roosevelt Square.
For the renovation of the façade of the Prefecture building, once you reach Piazza Roosevelt you will no longer have to go straight, but you are obliged to turn left and then turn right into via dei Terrabilia, right again into via Venezian and continuing straight along. Piazza Roosevelt again, then resuming the normal access route to via de ‘Fusari.
If you encounter any difficulties along the way, we recommend that you contact the reception staff who will guide you step by step to reach the Hotel Roma without incurring penalties.
