New appointment at the fair with Bologna Children’s Book Fair

For 60 years, Bologna Children’s Book Fair has been a landmark event for those working in the field of publishing and content dedicated to children and young people. BCBF is the meeting point for a diverse and international audience, representing the world’s most important event for the exchange of publishing rights, with an important core dedicated to licensing and multimedia content for children and young people.

The 2023 edition was attended by more than 1,400 exhibitors arriving from about 90 countries and regions around the world.

BCBF is a point of reference for publishers, authors, illustrators, literary agents, distributors, teachers, translators and all other figures working in the world of publishing and children’s content; this is because in recent years the Fair has managed to involve all those working in the sector, with areas and initiatives dedicated to the various professional figures.

Also taking place along with Bologna Children’s Book Fair are BolognaBookPlus – the exhibition extension dedicated to generalist publishing organized in collaboration with AIE – Italian Publishers Association – and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids, the show that brings together the main players in international entertainment and licensing in the children’s sector.
