Our Famous Guests
If the fussy man on duty took the trouble to list the illustrious guests who slept and dreamt, woke up with breakfast in bed or dined at the Hotel Roma, it would come out a small story of theater, cinema, music and a small history of politics in Italy.
Dedications of: Massimo Lopez, Arturo Brachetti and Bigas Luna.
Our Strategic Location
Via D'Azeglio is a small pearl in the heart of Bologna, an oasis where it might seem like you've gone back in time, seeing the warm rhythms of the people who look at the shop windows and linger in the cafes. This is the place for meetings and chats, more than Piazza Maggiore, where different ethnic groups infiltrate and other walks, more than the Pavaglione left to tourists passing through or to those who come only on Saturdays to the centre.
The History of Hotel
For sure, the palace at number 9 of Via D'Azeglio, which at the end of the nineteenth century became Albergo Roma, has its roots in the fifteenthcentury, as evidenced by the characteristicvaults of the time, but also the solid wallsin river stone. The current state was completed in the years following the First World War.
